11th Beijing International Aging Industry Expo

Recently, the press conference for the Beijing International Aging Industry Expo (referred to as "Beijing Aging Expo") was held in Beijing. It was announced that the 11th Beijing Aging Expo will take place from October 29 to 31 this year at the National Convention Center Phase II, with the theme "Intelligent Enjoyment of Silver Age, Care for All Directions." The expo will focus on six major exhibition areas: healthy travel and nursing, smart elderly care technology, age-friendly facilities and elderly supplies, elderly care services and rehabilitation aids, medical care services and products, and aging financial services and products. It is expected that over 200 exhibitors will participate, covering diverse fields such as technology, finance, healthcare, and real estate, forming a complete display of the industrial chain.

This year's Beijing Aging Expo will particularly highlight key national development directions such as smart elderly care, integration of medical and nursing services, age-friendly renovations, elderly care services, health and wellness tourism, and elderly finance. It will showcase cutting-edge technology products including AI health monitoring, smart wearable devices, and rehabilitation aids, promoting technological empowerment in the elderly care industry. Additionally, in line with the diverse needs of Beijing's 5.14 million elderly residents, six exhibition areas are established to cover the entire industrial chain and provide one-stop solutions.

In terms of demand matching, this expo pays special attention to the real issues faced by the elderly. For example, the smart elderly care experience area allows seniors to personally experience the convenience of smart homes and health monitoring technologies, narrowing the "digital divide." Activities such as Silver Age Market, health consultations, and public lectures will directly address the practical needs of older adults in medical, legal, and financial aspects. The healthy travel segment will integrate resources from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to offer unique routes such as desert therapy and seaside vacations, fulfilling the aspirations of Beijing's seniors for high-quality wellness living.

In terms of resource integration, this Beijing Aging Expo will adopt a multi-faceted model of "exhibition + forum + interactive experience", showcasing the latest achievements in the industry while facilitating supply-demand matchmaking and building a cross-industry ecosystem. The technology sector will gather innovative companies such as Xiaomi and BOE to showcase the latest smart elderly care achievements; the finance sector will introduce organizations like Huaxia Bank and Beijing Rural Commercial Bank to provide aging financial solutions; and the healthcare segment will focus on rehabilitation aids and traditional Chinese wellness service providers. During the expo, multiple business matchmaking events have been specially organized to promote substantive cooperation projects through precise matching of supply and demand. After the expo, the organizing committee will also collaborate with the Zhongguancun Development Group to establish a technology elderly care innovation center to continuously promote technology incubation and industry cooperation, thereby expanding the influence of the expo.

As the largest Beijing Aging Expo in history, this event will achieve comprehensive upgrades and innovative breakthroughs in terms of exhibition scale, content structure, interactive experience, and resource integration, promoting the high-quality development of China's elderly care industry and providing more quality solutions to address the challenges of an aging population.

After 10 years of accumulation, the Beijing Aging Expo will embrace a new upgrade this year. The exhibition area has expanded to 10,000 square meters, with six major exhibition areas including healthy travel and nursing, smart elderly care technology, age-friendly facilities and elderly supplies, and is expected to attract over 200 participating companies.

The expo will highlight three main features: first, leading technology, showcasing cutting-edge technologies such as AI health and smart wearables; second, scenarized experiences, with age-friendly model rooms and smart elderly care experience areas; and third, full industry chain coverage, bridging related fields such as healthcare, finance, and culture.

The expo has also planned multi-tiered forums and themed activities. On the opening day, October 29, a keynote forum will be held to discuss new directions for elderly care service reforms. Six professional committees covering elderly care technology, health and wellness tourism, aging finance, age-friendly infrastructure, elderly care services, and health care will hold specialized forums to release industry standards and innovative products. Notably, the expo coincides with the Double Ninth Festival, and activities such as the Silver Age Market, health lectures, and non-heritage experiences will be held, creating a festive carnival for the elderly community.
