The Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center is a major project invested and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is located close to Shenzhen Airport, and in the core area of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Its location offers outstanding advantages, with strong resource aggregation effects and enormous development potential.
Phase I of the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center covers an area of 1.2142 million square meters, with a total construction area of 1.6005 million square meters. The indoor exhibition area is 500,000 square meters. Construction of the exhibition hall began in September 2016, was completed in September 2019, and officially opened in November 2019. The project is being developed and operated by a joint venture between China Merchants Shekou and OCT, with management collaboration with the American company ASM GLOBAL.
The Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center is a large-scale multi-functional complex integrating exhibition, conferences, events (such as sports and performances), dining, and commercial services. The venue adopts a "fishbone" layout, consisting of 19 exhibition halls (16 standard halls, 1 super-large hall, and 2 multi-functional halls), and 1 outdoor exhibition area. There are 5 main entrances, 2 of which are directly connected to the subway.
The Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center enjoys excellent transportation access, being adjacent to Shenzhen Airport and situated at the intersection of the core development corridors of the Guangdong-Shenzhen-Hong Kong and the east-west development corridors, as well as the intersection of the three major city clusters of Guangfozhao, Dongguan-Huiyang, and Zhuhai-Zhongjiang. With a beautiful surrounding environment and complete facilities, it is an ideal location for exhibitions and events.
