The MTM2025 Metal World Expo will be grandly held from December 2 to 4, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The event is jointly organized by several organizations, including the All-China Metallurgical Association and Baosteel, with an expected participation of over 30,000 visitors and more than 1,000 exhibitors.

This expo is a significant indicator for the steel metallurgy industry. After over 30 years of development, it has evolved from the Shanghai International Metallurgical Industry Exhibition into a comprehensive procurement platform covering seven key themes: metallurgy, refractory materials, casting and forging, steel pipe industry, metal wire, industrial furnace technology, and non-ferrous metals, spanning a total area of 40,000 square meters.

The 2025 expo will focus on the theme of "Ecological Development of the Steel Industry," highlighting the transformation of low-carbon metallurgical processes, efficient use of clean energy, and pressing issues in green development. The event will serve as a global sharing platform for industry innovation outcomes, promoting sustainable development in the entire industry chain.

Exhibits will cover several major fields:
1. **Metallurgical Products and Technologies**: Raw materials such as ores, ferroalloys, and pig iron, as well as metal plates and pipes, along with auxiliary materials like refractories and industrial ceramics.
2. **Metallurgical Equipment and Technologies**: This includes mining equipment, ironmaking, steelmaking and refining equipment, along with environmental protection technologies such as wastewater treatment and exhaust gas management.
3. **Refractory Materials**: These include refractory materials required for the steel and non-ferrous metal industries, along with manufacturing, regeneration, and recycling technologies.
4. **Casting**: Showcasing castings, casting equipment, and related materials and technologies.

The MTM2025 Metal World Expo will be a new platform for communication and cooperation within the industry, driving ecological transformation in the steel sector.
