Ji'nan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center is a key project at both provincial and municipal levels. It officially opened on October 15, 2019, as a pioneering development in Jinan's New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Pilot Area. The center is invested and built by Greenland Holding Group, with operation and management handled by Greenland Hannover Exhibition Co., Ltd. It integrates various functions such as exhibitions, conferences, events, and hotel services.

The Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center covers a total construction area of 1.687 million square meters, with an indoor exhibition space of 510,000 square meters. The total investment is approximately 14.1 billion RMB. It is the world's largest convention and exhibition center in terms of comprehensive scale and the largest in China in terms of indoor exhibition space. It aims to become a world-class, China-leading center that integrates exhibition and industry development—a “new city of exhibition economy” and the country’s largest modern exhibition economic park.

The center consists of three main areas from east to west: the Exhibition Center, the Conference Center, and the Hotel Center. The overall design of the project resembles a “Yellow River scroll” gradually unfolding. The Conference Center is like a bridge soaring above this "Yellow River scroll," symbolizing Jinan’s historical leap forward in development and also representing a place for future "dialogue, communication, connection, and integration" with the world.

This center serves as a window for external communication from the Shandong region, a platform for dialogue among world civilizations, and an important medium for international cultural exchange. It holds significant importance in the development of the exhibition economy, the promotion of the conversion of new and old kinetic energy, and the enhancement of the city’s competitiveness.
