Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the core area of western Jinan, less than 3 kilometers from Jinan West Railway Station. It is south of IKEA and Decathlon, west of the Yuanda Commercial Complex and Evergrande’s super-tall commercial projects, and adjacent to the Shandong Provincial Medical Center, the Provincial Grand Theater, and the Shandong Science and Technology Museum. It is the first large exhibition hall in Jinan with a single net exhibition area of more than 150,000 square meters.

The center officially opened in July 2019. It covers a total construction area of approximately 352,000 square meters, with 226,000 square meters above ground and 126,000 square meters underground. The indoor exhibition area is 100,000 square meters, and the outdoor exhibition area is 50,000 square meters, providing a total of 5,468 international standard booths. The center mainly consists of 5 exhibition halls with 8 exhibition spaces, a conference center, an entrance lobby, unloading platforms, and more. The exhibition halls are arranged from south to north, with two single-story halls, two two-story halls, and one three-story hall (the three-story hall serves as the conference center). All halls have a ceiling height of over 11 meters, and the five halls are connected by a 40,000 square meter entrance lobby. Each hall is separated by curtain walls representing the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

There is a large bus parking area above ground, capable of accommodating 200 buses, with a passenger capacity of over 10,000. Underground, the center has a parking garage and additional business and dining facilities, offering over 2,400 parking spaces. To maximize space utilization and facilitate exhibitors' setup and teardown, the center features single-span steel beams with a maximum span of 72 meters. Each exhibition hall has 6 unloading docks, with the floor load capacity on the first floor being 5 tons per square meter and the second floor 3 tons per square meter, making it ideal for large truck exhibitions and machinery shows.

In October 2020, the third-floor exhibition hall of Hall 1 was upgraded into an International Conference Center, covering over 10,000 square meters. The entire conference area includes three conference halls with capacities of 4,000, 800, and 500 people, along with supporting facilities such as VIP reception rooms, press rooms, and leisure negotiation areas to meet various functional requirements for international and national-level conferences and events.
