The China International Cable and Wire Exhibition (wire China) was established in 2004 and has grown into Asia's leading event for the cable and wire industry, held every two years. Organized by Shanghai Cable Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Düsseldorf Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., this exhibition capitalizes on the strengths of both organizations to gather high-quality exhibitors and buyers from around the world, facilitating industry communication and information sharing. It serves as a professional platform for showcasing the latest products, technologies, and solutions in the industry.

Looking back at the last event, the 11th China International Cable and Wire Exhibition (wire China 2024) successfully concluded on September 28, 2024, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Over a period of four days, numerous attendees from the cable sector traveled from various parts of the world to attend. This edition of the exhibition saw record-breaking figures in terms of exhibition space, number of exhibitors, and visitors, bringing together 1,080 exhibitors and 41,857 professional visitors from 90 countries and regions, with a total exhibition area of 80,500 square meters. It presented a comprehensive view of the development achievements across the cable industry chain, building a strong bridge for global cable companies to discover opportunities in the Chinese market.

The range of exhibits includes equipment for wire production and refinement, cable processing machinery, cabling and stranding machines, fastener and spring manufacturing and precision processing machinery, processing equipment, auxiliary processing materials, materials and specialty cables, measurement and control technology, testing engineering, and other related fields. The presentation of these exhibits not only reflects the latest technological advancements but also provides valuable insights for the future development of the industry.
