China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall)

The China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall), established in 1985, is a large-scale professional exhibition venue and was rated as one of the top ten buildings of Beijing in the 1980s. It played a pivotal role in the rapid development of China’s modern exhibition industry, especially after hosting the Asia-Pacific International Economic and Trade Expo. The center helped boost the exhibition industry, contributed significantly to China’s reform and opening-up, facilitated domestic and international economic and technical exchanges, and promoted trade and the development of the socialist market economy system.

The China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall) has 8 exhibition halls, covering approximately 60,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor exhibition space, along with a 16,000-square-meter parking area. After more than 30 years of growth, it has become a prominent and widely respected exhibition venue, attracting many domestic and international organizers. Since the completion of the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in 2008, the two venues have strengthened their coordination, professional management, and integrated operations.
