2025 15th China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo

The Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum and the Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo have successfully held their 13th session, establishing itself as an important platform for mining development and international capacity cooperation in China. Each year, participants from 25 provinces and autonomous regions including Shandong, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, and Qinghai, along with representatives from mining management departments and enterprises from countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, gather to showcase their innovations, attracting over 26,000 professional visitors.

This year’s expo aims to actively explore production practices in the mining sector regarding carbon peak and carbon neutrality while promoting technological innovation in national strategic mineral resource exploration. It seeks to accelerate the transformation of Xinjiang’s mineral resource advantages into economic strengths. Notable activities include the initiation and signing ceremony of the "Silk Road Initiative for High-Quality Mining Development" and collaborations with relevant agencies from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to strengthen resource and capacity cooperation with Central Asian nations.

During the event, various awards will be presented, including the “Silk Road International Cooperation Award”, the “Mining Equipment Quality Award”, the “Expert Recommended Award”, and the “Most Trusted Brand in Mining”. The “High Quality Development Brand Enterprise Award” will also be given. Moreover, activities will encompass visits to the Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture.

Exhibition contents cover several aspects, including resource introduction and investment promotion, showcasing city images and development achievements, corporate image displays for mining and energy companies, geological exploration, mineral analysis and testing technologies, mining and beneficiation technologies, construction of green mines, smart and digital mining technologies, mining safety technologies and equipment, and comprehensive utilization of sand, stone, and tailings, reflecting the latest trends and cutting-edge technologies in the mining industry.
