CITIE 2026 Guangdong International Tourism Industry Expo

During the 2026 Spring Festival, China's tourism industry experienced one of its most prosperous, orderly, inclusive, and shared "longest Spring Festival holiday ever." With the call for action, preparations for the 2026 Guangdong International Tourism Industry Expo (also known as "Guangdong Travel Expo") have begun. This year's expo is hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Cultural and Tourism Development and Guarantee Center (Guangdong Xinghai Performing Arts Group) and co-organized by Guangzhou Guangzhilv International Travel Agency Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou International Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., taking place from September 11-13 at Area A of the Guangzhou Pazhou Exhibition Hall.

Founded in 2005 and becoming independent in 2009, the Guangdong Travel Expo has successfully held 17 sessions, serving as a key channel for deepening cultural tourism cooperation within Guangdong Province and other regions, an important window for cultural tourism exchanges, and a strong avenue for promoting high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry in Guangdong. Leveraging its position as the largest source of tourist outbound travel in the nation, the expo brings together global high-quality tourist destinations, service providers, and suppliers, and has developed over the years into one of the most international and successful comprehensive international tourism exhibitions in China.

This year’s expo will feature several thematic pavilions, including:

1. International Cultural Tourism Pavilion: Exhibiting overseas destination areas, airline and cruise sections, luxury island showcases, and international folk culture experience zones.

2. Cultural Tourism Integration Pavilion: Displaying domestic destination image zones, smart cultural tourism sections, rural revitalization and major project areas.

3. Cultural Tourism Consumption Experience Pavilion: Featuring sections for public welfare in cultural tourism, field study travel, health tourism, and cultural product innovation.

4. Guangdong Trendy Urban Life Seasonal Pavilion: Offering a coffee and trendy drinks festival, Cantonese culture exhibition, food carnival, RV camping and outdoor leisure sections, along with the Guangdong youth culture.
