2026 Shanghai Design

Shanghai Design is one of the most prestigious international design events in the world and the leading design event in Asia. It continually pioneers new frontiers and sets new precedents in China’s rapidly developing design industry. As the successful 2025 event concluded recently, the 2026 edition of Shanghai Design will return from March 19 to 22 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, offering a platform for global audiences to immerse themselves in world-class creativity and design influence.

The 2026 event will unveil four core sections: Furniture & Lighting Design, Kitchen & Bathroom & Interior Design, New Materials & Applications, and Lifestyle & Accessory Design. These sections will present selected design masterpieces from over 600 brands across more than 30 countries and regions, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the design field.

Additionally, the event will present seven special curations: TALENTS, the Neooold exhibition, Re:Materialize Material Aesthetics Trend Exhibition, Made in JDZ, Beyond Craft Japan, Collectible Design & Art, and Materials First. These special segments will enhance the experience and exploration opportunities for visitors.

To further ignite creativity and industry dialogue, three major forums will take place concurrently: the Kohler Global Design Forum, Healthy Living Design Forum, and CMF Forum. Over 200 design pioneers will gather to share insights and engage in profound discussions.

In its previous gatherings, Shanghai Design attracted more than 76,000 professional visitors, solidifying its status as a premier international design event in Asia. Beyond being a showcase, Shanghai Design is a hub for connecting, sharing inspirations, and exchanging experiences in the creative world. The exhibition will continue to foster global communication and collaboration within the design community.
