The 2026 Ninth China International Education Equipment (Shanghai) Expo will grandly open from March 20 to 22, 2026, at the Shanghai Automobile International Exhibition Center. The expo is themed "Display, Communication, Open Cooperation, and Win-Win", committed to promoting the deep integration of educational technology equipment, especially intelligent information technology, with educational teaching, aiming at cultivating students' core competencies as its fundamental focus and driving the grand process of comprehensive education reform unwaveringly.
This expo is a profound practice of the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, fully implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on education, and actively responding to strategic guidelines from documents such as the "14th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China" and the "14th Five-Year Plan for Educational Development in Shanghai". It will provide a high-level communication and cooperation platform for research, development, and management of educational equipment, thereby supporting the construction of a modern socialist country with solid educational underpinnings.
The exhibition will gather numerous quality exhibitors from both domestic and international markets, providing a panoramic display of the various educational equipment needed for preschool education, basic education, vocational education, and special education. Exhibits will include teaching instruments, laboratory and subject classroom equipment, education informatization and digital campus construction equipment and software, products for art, music, physical education, classroom lighting equipment, teaching publications, and logistics facilities, aimed at showcasing the latest technologies and development trends in the education industry.
Specialized exhibition areas will feature areas such as preschool education technology equipment, showcasing preschool educational software, educational toys, children's books, and art supplies; basic education technology equipment, highlighting smart campus, multimedia classroom equipment, and AR/VR interactive teaching solutions; and higher education informatization technology equipment, covering the construction of educational resource information centers, applications of artificial intelligence and big data, educational robots, and laboratory equipment.
Participants will include leaders from the Ministry of Education, experts from international academic institutions, education department leaders from various provinces and cities, staff members from different educational institutions, and representatives from educational equipment manufacturing companies, agents, and international trade purchasers. This grand event aims to lead the development of China’s education equipment industry towards a new journey of high-quality development.
