The 2025 Art Xiamen Expo aims to assist Xiamen in establishing a comprehensive art ecosystem, facilitate the development of aesthetic education in the city, and strive to create an 'Eastern Basel' to promote cultural and artistic exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. This initiative is also focused on accelerating the prosperity of the art market in the Haixi region.
The expo brings together outstanding galleries and art institutions from around the world, creating a high-quality international art trading platform and international art and cultural exchange platform for galleries, art institutions, artists, and collectors. This platform not only helps to foster the agglomeration effect of the art market but also offers a well-equipped art market ecosystem.
Moreover, the 2025 Art Xiamen Expo will persist in hosting distinctive academic curatorial projects and themed academic forums, initiating multidimensional dialogues between local and international contexts, art and urbanism, as well as art and commerce. This dialogue aims to achieve a dual launch of social aesthetic education and the art market, propelling Xiamen to become a city with deeper cultural significance and artistic appeal.
