The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services will be held from September 10 to September 14 in the Shougang Park, establishing a fixed schedule to occur on the second Wednesday of September each year. This year's event spans over 5 days, with the first 3 days dedicated to professional audience while the last 2 days open to the public. The fair aims to concentrate on the hot trends in the development of service trade, featuring the Global Service Trade Summit, exhibitions, forums, business negotiations, and various supporting activities.
The 2025 Global Service Trade Summit, co-hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the Ministry of Commerce, and the People's Government of Beijing, will take place on the morning of September 10, inviting leaders from the Party and state, foreign dignitaries, and heads of international organizations to attend and give speeches. The summit will explore the openness and cooperation in the service sector, share new trends in service trade, and foster a consensus on collaborative development.
In terms of exhibitions, the fair will highlight the theme of integration and quality enhancement, inviting guest countries, provinces, and international organizations to showcase. Australia, as the guest country, will form the largest exhibition delegation since the fair's inception, while Anhui Province will display the latest achievements in local technological innovation and service sector openness. Additionally, over 30 countries and international organizations have expressed intentions to participate, with Canada set to set up an online exhibition in a government capacity for the first time.
Forums will present authoritative discussions, including publications of service trade policies and data guidelines from the UNCTAD and numerous other leading organizations, aiming to guide industry development. More than a dozen thematic forums and negotiation sessions have been collected to facilitate in-depth exchanges among enterprises in the sector.
Business negotiation sessions will offer flexible interaction spaces, encouraging provinces and cities to organize investment promotions and activities during the event, promoting service trade investment and consumption. In terms of result launches, around 200 new product outcomes are planned to be published, with notable enterprises such as Alibaba and Schneider set to unveil their digitalized and green innovations.
Additionally, supporting activities will emphasize interactive experiences, covering diverse events such as art performances, cultural tourism markets, and sports events, aiming to create a relaxed atmosphere for open exchanges and promote Beijing's commercial and cultural image.
