The 21st Cultural Industries Fair is scheduled to be held from May 22 to 26, 2025, at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an exhibition area of approximately 160,000 square meters with 8 pavilions and over 3076 exhibitors expected. The fair is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Radio and Television Administration, with the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government as the organizer, supported by various cultural professional institutions.

The significance of this exhibition lies in the fact that it occurs during the closing year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the starting year of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, thus reflecting the responsibilities of a national-level, international, and comprehensive cultural industry fair. The event will further transform and upgrade, focusing on enhancing the trading function and accelerating the internationalization, marketization, and digitalization efforts, ultimately striving to become a significant exhibition with substantial impact on the international cultural industry.

The fair will adhere to the model of "comprehensive exhibition + professional exhibition," with the comprehensive section including the Cultural Industry Comprehensive Exhibition (Halls A and B) and a Cultural Industry Innovation Exhibition from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Meanwhile, the professional sections will cover various domains including the International Cultural Trade Exhibition, Cultural Consumption and Tourism Integration Exhibition, Film, Copyright, and Gaming E-sports Exhibition, and Non-material Cultural Heritage, Time-honored Brands, and Arts and Crafts Exhibition among others.

A newly established cloud-based platform, the "Online Cultural Industries Fair," will showcase cultural products and projects classified by exhibition area via the official website and WeChat mini-programs, enhancing online trading capabilities and creating a venue that never closes for the "Digital Intelligent Cultural Fair."

Within the specialized exhibition areas, there will be several sub-specialty zones focusing on promising market prospects and high concern industries. These will include areas like "Cultural Creative China," National Exhibition Areas, International Leading Brand Agencies Exhibition Area, Cultural Export Exhibition Zone (newly established), Cultural Products Import Trade Area, Young Creative Project Incubation Exhibition Area (newly set up), “Cultural Fair Gifts” Exhibition Zone (new), Artificial Intelligence Exhibition Zone (new), New Business Models in Culture and Tourism Exhibition Area, Outdoor Cultural Tourism and Sports Exhibition Zone (new), Cultural Technology Investment and Financing Exhibition Area, Television and Broadcasting Exhibition Area, Film Industry Exhibition Area, Publishing Sector, and Copyright Transaction Areas (newly established) among others.
