The 21st “China Optics Valley” International Optoelectronics Expo and Forum 2026

The 21st “China Optics Valley” International Optoelectronics Expo (also known as Wuhan Optics Expo / OVC EXPO) will be held from May 18 to 20, 2026, at the Wuhan Optics Valley Technology Exhibition Center in China. This event is anticipated to host nearly 400 exhibitors and over 30,000 professional visitors, along with more than 20 conferences and special activities. Since its inception in 2002, the Wuhan Optics Expo has evolved into one of the highest-standard and most influential exhibitions in China’s optoelectronics sector, serving as an essential platform for connecting research, manufacturing, downstream applications, and government resources, facilitating precise supply-demand matches and deeply tapping into the central and western markets of China.

Over the years, the expo has attracted more than 6,000 renowned companies from over 40 countries and regions, with nearly 600,000 professional visitors attending and more than 200 specialized conferences held alongside. As the global optoelectronics information industry enters a period of multifaceted breakthroughs and integrated innovations in 2025, this year’s event aims to address the tightening economic landscape and the stagnant growth in the optoelectronics market by implementing six major initiatives: enhancing market penetration in central and western China, promoting collaboration among industry, academia, and research, expanding international operations, adopting digital marketing strategies, and hosting a wide range of diverse industry meetings.

The exhibition will focus on organizing professional audience engagement in sectors such as automotive engineering, renewable energy, aerospace, shipbuilding, machinery manufacturing, semiconductors, and biomedicine, while also inviting overseas buyers to help exhibitors establish roots in the expansive and uneven optoelectronic market in central and western China.
