Yunnan, as a radiation center for South Asia and Southeast Asia, has become an important hub for China to conduct safety emergency cooperation with neighboring countries due to its unique geographical advantages and strategic position in the 'Belt and Road' initiative. With the comprehensive implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the demand for coordination in the safety emergency industry chain within the region is rapidly increasing, as Southeast Asian countries experience a growing need for technology in disaster management, urban firefighting, and occupational safety.

In this context, the '2026 Southeast Asia (Yunnan) Safety Emergency Industry Expo' will be grandly held in Kunming from April 16 to 18, 2026. The expo is planned to be jointly hosted by agencies, including the Laos National Fire Company and the Thailand Security Association, featuring an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters.

The focus will be on showcasing new technologies and integrated application solutions in emergency equipment, safety protection, monitoring and early warning, drones, urban lifelines, disaster prevention and mitigation, emergency rescue, and emergency services. The event will provide one-on-one business matching services for exhibitors and buyers, allowing participants to fully leverage the opportunities for business cooperation.

The expo will invite well-known emergency companies to display their new technologies, equipment, and service capabilities. It will also host several high-level emergency safety conferences inviting government leaders, industry experts, and corporate executives to discuss cutting-edge technologies, trends, and regulations in the emergency sector. Additionally, a visitor experience area will allow attendees to personally experience the practical applications of emergency safety technologies and products. The exhibiting range covers emergency technology, information system integration, covering emergency management systems, drone detection, emergency big data platforms, monitoring and warning technologies, fire safety equipment, unmanned rescue equipment, and family emergency products, all aimed at enhancing the region's safety governance capabilities.
