On May 25, 2025, the 42nd China International Sporting Goods Expo successfully concluded in Honggutan District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Covering a total exhibition area of 163,700 square meters, there were 1,812 exhibiting companies, setting a new participation record. During the event's duration, over 120,000 attendees visited, including 50,000 business and casual attendees and more than 4,000 international buyers. Industry manufacturers, distributors, experts, and sports enthusiasts gathered to discuss new opportunities in the sports industry.
The 2025 expo empowered the sports industry comprehensively through three thematic areas: fitness, sports venues and equipment, as well as sports consumption and services. It facilitated an ecosystem of digital fitness technologies and intelligent solutions within sports venues while showcasing the latest trends and immersive experiences for audiences. This cohesive approach supports the circular economy encompassing research, manufacturing, practical applications, and end-user consumption as guided by national policy directions promoting sports industry development.
The upcoming 43rd China International Sporting Goods Expo (2026 CSGE) will be held from May 21-24, 2026, at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. This strategic location in the southeastern coastal area positions itself as a central hub for global sports goods industry collaboration.
The expo will feature sections dedicated to fitness, venue development, and sports consumption. The fitness area aims to provide a comprehensive commercial and home fitness experience, while the venue and equipment zone will highlight innovations in construction and ice and snow sports. The sports consumer and services area will cover a wide range of sports equipment and reflect the evolution in public sports consumption, emphasizing the rise of new mass sports activities.
