2027 Beijing Contemporary Art Fair

The Beijing Contemporary Art Fair was established in 2018 and has become a significant platform for the exchange and trade of contemporary art, aiming to uncover and promote the value of contemporary art both in China and globally. As a fair that is representative of China while being inclusive of the world, it centers around the principles of curation, locality, and public engagement, focusing on the complexities inherent in contemporary art ecology.

The 2027 edition of the fair is set to take place from May 27 to 30 at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, themed "LAND TRACE." This theme invites viewers to reassess cultural differences and uneven experiences between continents from the perspectives of geopolitical culture and historical geography, attempting to redraw the details of the contemporary art landscape within the context of modern times.

The exhibition will feature various art forms including Chinese calligraphy and painting, oil paintings, watercolors, sketches, prints, sculptures, video art, installations, design products, antiques, furniture, jewelry, and ceramics.
