2026 China International Education Exhibition - Shanghai Station

The China International Education Exhibition was established in 2000 and is hosted by the China Education International Exchange Association. Held annually in the fall, the exhibition travels to cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Wuhan. It has become a benchmark for domestic and international education exhibitions, characterized by its large scale, wide influence, comprehensive content, strong brand, and high visitor engagement. One of its most notable features is the participation of over twenty national exhibition groups each year, ensuring the legitimacy and authority of the exhibiting schools while showcasing the educational images and strengths of various countries. Additionally, the guest country mechanism introduced each year promotes the diversification of overseas study avenues by highlighting the cultural experiences, educational resources, and advantages of the guest country.

Approximately 500 schools participate annually, with over 2000 representatives from overseas institutions across nearly 40 countries and regions, attracting about 50,000 attendees from across the nation. The exhibition travels through major cities, not only providing students direct access to quality overseas education resources but also offering educational workers, institutional leaders, experts, and representatives from various organizations and businesses the opportunity for face-to-face exchanges and collaborations with overseas institutions.

During the event, many overseas educational institutions and consular education offices hold specialized lectures and interactive activities to promote their country’s accredited institutions, visa requirements, educational quality certification systems, and high-quality international courses. Attendees can engage directly with “foreign professors,” enabling an interactive and informative space that helps to disseminate current trends in studying abroad, essential policies, regulations, and application techniques. Additionally, as a value-added service, participating institutions can gain opportunities for pre-event online promotions, including voice sharing sessions and live broadcasts.

Participants in the exhibition include overseas secondary schools, preparatory schools, colleges, and universities, vocational training schools, language training institutions, government educational agencies, embassies and consulates, recognized Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions, and various study abroad service providers.
