The 2026 8th China (Dalian) International Cultural Tourism Industry Trade Fair is set to take place with a grand opening, featuring a series of exciting events that attract attention from various industries. Highlights of the event will include the "Zhongyi Cup" Craft Art Innovation Design Competition and the "Classic Craft Art" Competition hosted by the China Arts and Crafts Society. These competitions have gained popularity each year, showcasing not only the exquisite skills of craft artists but also transmitting the spirit of craftsmanship and extraordinary creativity. The exhibited works epitomize the unique charm of craft art and highlight the remarkable blend of traditional and modern craftsmanship in China.
In addition, the "Mountains and Seas Affection·Understanding Liaoning" cultural tourism product innovation and design competition, organized by the Liaoning Provincial Cultural Tourism Association, will also be a centerpiece of this year's fair. The competition aims to discover and nurture iconic regional products while creating a strong Liaoning brand. By telling the stories of the hometown through cultural tourism products, it seeks to meet the growing demand of the public for a better life and to rejuvenate the cultural tourism industry in Liaoning, thus promoting economic development. Furthermore, the fair will feature other exciting competition events such as the "Zhongyou Cup" Specialty Product Innovation Competition and the "Zhongyou Cup" Amusement Equipment Innovation Competition.
This fair encompasses a wide array of cultural industries, including broadcasting, audio-visual literature, cultural media, cultural facilities, creative design, and intangible cultural heritage treasures. At the same time, the tourism industry will also be a key focus with showcases of tourism enterprises, travel agencies, theme parks, rural tourism, and transportation, among others. By attracting high-quality cultural tourism resources domestically and internationally, the fair aims to provide a comprehensive and engaging communication platform that fosters industry development.
