The China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, is a grand event in international trade that has been held in Guangzhou since its inception in 1957. It is the oldest, largest, and most comprehensive trade fair in China, attracting a wide array of international buyers for inspection and transactions. The 138th Canton Fair will be held from April 15 to May 5, 2025, with an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters and expects to host over 31,000 participating enterprises with nearly 73,000 exhibition booths.

In terms of foreign buyers, this year's fair is expected to attract more than 290,000 attendees from 219 countries and regions, which is a 17.3% increase compared to the previous session. Additionally, the number of online foreign buyers is expected to reach 527,185 from 229 countries and regions worldwide, showcasing the importance and influence of the Canton Fair in international trade.

To promote balanced trade and enhance imports, the import exhibition was established at the 101st Canton Fair, and this year’s import show will also feature over 700 companies from 50 countries and regions. The products on display will cover diverse fields such as home textiles, carpets, men's and women's clothing, underwear, sportswear, leisure wear, pet supplies, health products, and more, illustrating the diversity and vibrancy of the Chinese market.

The Canton Fair serves not only as a platform for product transactions but also as an important communication venue for international businesses and buyers, providing them with opportunities to understand market trends and expand their business. The cumulative visit count for exhibitor shops has reached 4.3737 million, highlighting the popularity of exhibited products and market demand.
