Jiangmen is known for its robust economic foundation and unique market conditions, establishing itself as a dark horse in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. In 2020, the city's GDP reached 320.095 billion yuan, marking a 2.2% year-on-year growth, showcasing the region's strong economic growth potential. Jiangmen ranks among the top in the province for several key economic indicators, particularly in industrial added value where it placed fifth in the province and second in the Pearl River Delta region with a total exceeding 100 billion yuan, reflecting its significance as a prominent base for tea industry development.

This expo will showcase six major types of tea: green tea, black tea, yellow tea, white tea, oolong tea, and dark tea, along with assorted blended teas such as floral (herbal) tea, concentrated tea, fruit-flavored tea, health teas, and tea beverages. In addition to the teas, a variety of teaware will also be displayed, including teapots, brewing equipment, purple clay, ceramics, bamboo wood items, glass jars, and metal accessories. Furthermore, exhibits related to tea culture will feature a diverse range of items such as books, calligraphy, sculptures, tea crafts, tea furniture, and technology-derived products related to tea, highlighting the profound heritage of tea culture alongside modern innovation.

The expo will play a crucial role in promoting the development of the tea industry and boosting economic growth, while also providing an excellent platform for tea merchants, enthusiasts, and cultural exchanges to foster communication and collaboration.
