Western China International Expo City

The Western China International Expo City (WCIEC) is located in the core area of Tianfu New Area, a national-level new district in Sichuan. As the permanent venue of the Western China International Fair, WCIEC serves as a major exhibition and business hub for high-end events, playing a pivotal role in the development of China's mid-western exhibition industry. It aims to become a key international exchange platform supporting the Belt and Road Initiative and the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

Situated at 88 Fuzhou East Road, Tianfu New Area, Chengdu, WCIEC is the largest exhibition complex in western China, jointly developed by Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. It has joined UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry), ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association), and IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events), reinforcing its global presence in the exhibition industry.

The first phase of WCIEC, the International Exhibition and Display Center, covers 570,000 square meters and has been awarded top honors such as the China Steel Structure Gold Award, National High-Quality Engineering Award, and Luban Award.

- Indoor net exhibition space: 205,000 square meters, comprising 15 standard exhibition halls and 1 multifunctional hall, capable of accommodating 11,000 international standard booths.
- Outdoor exhibition area: Over 100,000 square meters.
- Comprehensive supporting facilities: Office spaces, dining areas, parking lots, and logistics zones.

Since its official opening in September 2017, WCIEC has hosted 468 exhibitions, conferences, performances, and sports events (as of August 2023). It is home to major international and national exhibitions, including the Western China International Fair, China National Sugar and Alcohol Trade Fair, and Chengdu International Auto Show (each covering over 200,000 square meters). It also hosts UFI-certified events such as the Chengdu Building Expo and Western China International Dental Expo, making it a highly regarded venue in the global exhibition industry.
