The Yantai Bajiaowan International Exhibition Center is located in Bajiao Street, Yantai Development Zone. Covering an area of 139,000 square meters, with a total building area of 246,000 square meters, the center was built with a total investment of approximately 3.3 billion yuan. Designed by the renowned American design company AECOM, its concept is based on "City Coastline Clouds & Waves, Seaside Silver Shell," reflecting the coastal characteristics of Yantai.
The center consists of a double-level A exhibition hall, a single-level B exhibition hall, a lobby, and a comprehensive cultural activity center, with a total building area of 200,000 square meters. The architecture features a stylish and grand design with double-curved aluminum panels and glass curtain walls, embodying a modern and dynamic aesthetic. Throughout the project, BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology was applied, earning numerous national and provincial awards, including the Luban Prize and the China Steel Structure Gold Award.
The exhibition center is divided into two main areas: the exhibition zone and the conference zone. The exhibition area includes both indoor and outdoor spaces, with 56,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, 8 exhibition halls, and 2,800 exhibition booths. The outdoor exhibition area is approximately 33,000 square meters.
The conference area spans five floors, featuring 30 different-sized meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 3,600 people, making it ideal for various conferences, banquets, forums, and other events. In addition, the center offers over 1,800 parking spaces with smart parking technology and a 2,500 square meter supporting kitchen, providing a wide range of food options for visitors.
