Since its inception, the Fuzhou Tea Trade Fair (known as Fuzhou Tea Expo) has been dedicated to promoting Chinese tea culture, enhancing trade cooperation, and driving rural revitalization. It has successfully organized four editions, becoming a key exhibition with extensive coverage, forward-thinking features, and significant influence. In 2024, the fair first embraced a market-oriented approach, achieving remarkable results with 200,000 attendees, a transaction volume of 1.356 billion RMB, and over 60 million views, leading to the establishment of the world's first alliance for important agricultural heritage of tea, thus starting a new chapter in global tea heritage conservation.
This year's expo will continue with the theme 'China Tea, Enjoyed by the World', focusing on the keywords 'tea trade' and 'tea culture'. The fair will deepen its marketization efforts by adopting an innovative model that integrates both online and offline approaches to showcase the new achievements, technologies, and projects in China’s tea industry comprehensively, thus facilitating the cultural outreach and enhancing trading opportunities.
September is not only the golden period of autumn consumption but also a key marketing moment for the tea industry. This year’s fair will bring together over 600 brand tea companies, covering an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters with 1,200 international standard booths. The event plans to organize five major exhibition areas: Jasmine Tea Area, New Tea Beverage Area, Colorful Fujian Tea Area, Fujian-Taiwan Integration Area, and Tea Packaging Machinery Area, showcasing a diverse range of products covering traditional six major tea types, recycled tea, tea utensils, packaging, machinery, deep processing of tea, and other aspects of the tea industry chain, offering citizens high-quality and diversified consumption choices.
Exhibitors will include renowned tea producers of dark tea, red tea, green tea, white tea, yellow tea, and oolong tea, featuring local specialties such as Yunnan Pu’er, Anxi Tieguanyin, Wuyi Rock Tea, and more. Additionally, tea processing companies, packaging enterprises, and distribution companies will be actively participating, ensuring a complete representation of the tea industry chain.
