The China Western International Tea Industry Expo, founded by Huaju Chen in Xi'an in 2013, has been deeply implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the national "Belt and Road" initiative. Its goal is to establish Xi'an as a trade center for tea along the new Silk Road Economic Belt. The expo serves as a platform for cultural dissemination, commerce exchange, display trade, and industry promotion.
This year’s expo is themed around the combination of an exhibition and a cultural festival, responding to the national “Rural Revitalization” industrial policy and aligning with Xi'an’s positioning as a "three centers, two highlands, and one hub". A series of events will be planned, including a cultural festival, peak forums, professional competitions, aesthetic spaces, and cultural gatherings, bringing together government leaders, industry associations, experts, and business representatives to tell the story of Chinese tea and shape a new urban brand.
Exhibitors will include renowned tea manufacturers from various regions showcasing specialties such as black tea, red tea, green tea, white tea, yellow tea, and oolong tea, including Yunnan Pu'er tea, Wuzhou Liubo tea, Hunan dark tea, Sichuan藏茶, Anxi Tieguanyin, Wuyi rock tea, high mountain oolong tea, West Lake Longjing, Huangshan Maofeng, Xinyang Maojian, and Liu'an Guapian.
The expo will also highlight tea deep processing enterprises, offering tea snacks, processed teas and beverages, tea bags, tea crafts, and health drinks. Tea packaging companies will present items like tea tins, gift boxes, and various packaging products. Additionally, tea machinery and detection enterprises will showcase tea-picking machines, tea processing machines, packaging machines, tea preservation devices, and weighing instruments.
To facilitate tea distribution, the expo will invite tea dealers, chain operating enterprises, and tea import-export companies, promoting the globalization of the tea industry. Moreover, exquisite tea utensils and crafts will be on display, such as Zisha pottery, collectibles, root carving artworks, calligraphy, porcelain, and classical furniture, showcasing the rich connotation of Chinese tea culture, promoting the Chinese tea story, and injecting new energy and ideas into the tea industry's development.
