The 22nd Hebei International Tea Expo 2026 will be held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, gathering a wealth of tea industry resources and a profound tea culture. Located at the center of the Beijing-Tianjin economic circle, Hebei's unique geographic position and policy advantages make it a key location for businesses to expand their sales. With the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the establishment of the Xiong'an New Area, business opportunities in Hebei are increasingly significant. Shijiazhuang, as the provincial capital, boasts excellent transportation conditions and a vast consumer market serving a population of 200 million, accounting for over 10% of the national market.
Hebei is not only the birthplace of China's tea culture but also famous for its historical Zen tea culture. The earliest records of Zen tea practice can be traced back to the "Book of Jin: Arts Transmission" and the famous "Eating Tea" case is significant in the development of Zen at the Bailin Temple in Zhao County, Hebei. These factors make Hebei an important player in the formation and development of tea ceremonies.
Although local tea production in Hebei is limited, the consumption of tea has been significantly increasing in recent years, with an estimated sales volume of 189,000 tons by 2025. The Hebei International Tea Expo will be a focal point for domestic tea enterprises, showcasing various well-known tea brands and helping businesses to seize these new growth points in the market.
The expo is not just an exhibition; it's a major event for trade exchange and the dissemination of tea culture. After eight years of development, this expo has become a barometer of tea industry development trends in North China, fully stimulating market vitality and promoting tea development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and nationwide.
Exhibited items include:
1. Various tea products: green tea, black tea, oolong tea, white tea, flower tea, yellow tea, health tea, and tea beverages;
2. Yixing purple clay craftsmanship;
3. Zen tea and related items;
4. Various tea utensils, including ceramic and glassware, brewing devices, and utensils for brewing;
5. Redwood furniture and collectible art pieces;
6. Tea packaging and equipment;
7. Tea distribution organizations;
8. Tea art performances and technical exchanges, showcasing the diversity and depth of tea culture.
