The enchanting Yellow River Delta, a city of oil, Dongying stands at the estuary where the Yellow River meets the sea. This oil city has flourished for 60 years, developing a complete petrochemical industry chain, including petroleum refining, fine chemicals, and oil equipment, which places Dongying at the forefront of the national petrochemical industry. By 2024, Dongying's GDP per capita reached 196,300 RMB, leading in Shandong Province. As living standards rise, tea drinking and the appreciation of tea culture have permeated households, with several tea cities and tea houses enriching the local culture.

From May 29 to June 1, 2026, the Dongying Yellow River International Exhibition Center will host the 7th China (Dongying) International Tea Culture Expo and Zisha, Tea Utensils, and Hardwood Crafts Exhibition (shortened as Dongying Tea Expo). This event is organized by Qingdao Haizhixing Business Exhibition Co., Ltd., which has successfully conducted six previous expos. The 2026 Dongying Tea Expo aims to bring in renowned tea enterprises and enrich tea culture events, merging commerce and culture to create a fragrant and traditional tea festival.

Visitors can expect a variety of teas from across the country, including black tea, green tea, white tea, yellow tea, Oolong (blue tea), and Pu-erh (dark tea). The exhibition will feature exquisite Zisha teapots, cups, and accessories, alongside a range of hardwood furniture like classical pieces and unique wood carvings. Additionally, spectacular gem artworks, distinguished paintings, and various collectibles will enhance the experience. Whether savoring tea with friends or appreciating tea utensils, attendees will revel in the delightful ambience of tea culture!
