2025 14th Jiangsu (Shengze) Textile Expo

"The sunny sky turns a thousand waves, and the wind brings the sound of thousands of looms." Shengze, one of China's four major silk towns, boasts a long history of textile production. As early as the Tang Dynasty, the local "Wu Ling" silk had already become a tribute. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, Shengze became renowned for its developed silk weaving industry and flourishing silk trade, being celebrated alongside Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Huzhou. The elegant silk textiles from Shengze have always been well-received both domestically and internationally, winning top prizes at various world exhibitions, including the most awarded at the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition.

After China's reform and opening up, Shengze accelerated its pace of technological advancement and industrial upgrading, transforming its traditional textile industry significantly and establishing its unique industrial advantages. Today, Shengze has been recognized repeatedly, being designated as a "Chinese Textile Fabric Trend Release Base" and a "National Foreign Trade Development Transformation and Upgrading Demonstration Base," and it has become China's largest textile industry base, earning many titles, including "Chinese Silk Capital" and "China Silk Town."

At this expo, a wide range of items will be displayed, including linen, silk, cotton, chemical-fiber woven fabrics, wool, knitted fabrics, etc. There will also be various performance fabrics such as anti-static, oil-repellent, waterproof, flame-retardant, and radiation-proof textiles. Additionally, ecological textiles and environmentally friendly fabrics will be highlighted, along with relevant textile machinery and testing institutions to provide support and services across the entire industry.
