2025 20th Central China Book Trade Fair

The Central China Book Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as Huatuo Fair) has successfully held nineteen sessions from 2002 to 2024. This exhibition originated in March 2002, initiated by the China Publishing Association and the Hubei Provincial Publishing Association, and co-organized the first "Non-State-Owned Book Industry Trade Fair" in Wuhan. Starting from the second session, the Hubei Provincial Publishing Association renamed the original "Non-State-Owned Book Industry Trade Fair" to the "Central China Book Trade Fair."

Since its inception in 2002, the Huatuo Fair has consistently focused on integrity and innovation, centering on industry construction and book transactions. It aims to create a trading platform for Hubei cultural products and projects, fully serving the cultural development strategy of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and provincial government, promoting and stimulating the development of the book distribution industry in Hubei, and actively driving Hubei's innovative cultural achievements to the national market.

After nineteen successful editions, the main venue has reached an exhibition size of 25,000 square meters, with 370 exhibitors. The number of provinces and cities participating in visits, exhibitions, and purchasing has increased from over 8 in the first session to 22 in the nineteenth. Due to its long development history, large exhibition scale, and strong industry influence, it has become an important engine for promoting the development of China's publishing and distribution cultural industry and has grown into one of the four major industry exhibitions in China's publishing and distribution sector (the four major industry exhibitions are the Beijing Book Order Fair, the National Book Trade Expo, and the Changsha Book Fair, known collectively as China's four major industry exhibitions).
