2026 SIAL International Food and Beverage Exhibition (Shanghai)

SIAL is an abbreviation of the French term "Salon International De L'Alimentation", which translates to the International Food Exhibition. The Chinese transliteration is "西雅". Established in Paris in 1964 by the Comexposium group, SIAL has grown into the world's largest exhibition brand for food and beverage innovation. The SIAL series occurs in various global cities, including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Paris, and more, serving as a significant platform for food companies to communicate their messages and showcase their values. To foster the growth of the Chinese food industry, SIAL was introduced to China in 2000 by the Comexposium group, leading to the dual-city format of SIAL (Shanghai) and SIAL (Shenzhen), which attracts professionals from around the globe every year.

After 25 years in the Chinese market, SIAL has gathered over 55,000 exhibitors from 75 countries and regions and attracted more than 1.5 million food and beverage professionals from 125 countries and regions, establishing itself as one of the "top three food exhibitions in the world". This annual exhibition showcases a variety of new food and beverage products and provides direct dialogue platforms with global buyers, facilitating on-site orders and opportunities for business development.

In 2026, the SIAL (Shanghai) exhibition will take place from May 18 to 20 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, covering an area of 200,000 square meters. It is expected to welcome more than 5,000 exhibitors with over 350,000 products and attract more than 180,000 professionals from 125 countries and regions. The range of exhibits includes imported food, snacks, health foods, dairy products, oils and condiments, convenience foods, fresh and frozen meat, aquatic products, ready-to-eat meals, frozen ingredients, premium beverages, alcoholic drinks, as well as regional specialty foods.

Additionally, there will be numerous events and competitions held, such as the SIAL World Food Industry Summit, SIAL Innovation Competition, SIAL Gourmet Kitchen, among others, to further enhance industry exchanges and collaborations. 

This exhibition is exclusively open to professionals; individuals under 18 years and non-professionals aged 70 and above will not be admitted.
