The China (Yuhuan) International Machine Tool Exhibition, abbreviated as YME, has a rich history and significant influence. Since its inaugural event in 2004, it has been held annually and has successfully completed 20 editions, showcasing an expanding scale from the initial 176 booths and 82 participating companies to over 2,500 booths and nearly 800 companies in 2022. This evolution demonstrates the exhibition's vital role in driving innovation and upgrades in Yuhuan's manufacturing industry.

Jointly organized by Yuhuan Huapu Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. and the Yuhuan Machine Tool Industry Association, the event receives strong support from the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the People's Government of Yuhuan, and the Taizhou Municipal Committee for the Promotion of International Trade. The primary aim of the exhibition is to provide a platform for promoting innovative development in Yuhuan's manufacturing sector, marking an important historical process of economic restructuring and transformation in the region. To date, it has served nearly 10,000 exhibitors from across the country, attracted over 800,000 visitors, and recorded on-site transactions exceeding 10 billion yuan, with intended transaction amounts surpassing 20 billion yuan. These figures reflect the extensive recognition and influence of the exhibition within the industry, serving as a crucial 'catalyst' and 'booster' for innovation in manufacturing technology in both Yuhuan and Taizhou.

The exhibition covers a wide range of exhibits, including:

Cutting machine tool zone: Showcasing lathes, milling machines, boring machines, drills, grinders, and various machining centers, including horizontal, vertical, and gantry types;

Forming machine tool zone: Displaying advanced sheet metal processing equipment like laser cutting machines, CNC bending machines, and shearing machines;

Grinding tools zone: Featuring various types of cutting tools, combination tools, as well as grinding tools and related instruments;

Machine tool accessories zone: Including functional components, attachments, and factory-related products like industrial cleaning solutions;

Smart factory zone: Showcasing industrial automation solutions, including industrial robots, machine vision technology, and applications of artificial intelligence.
