The exhibition area reaches 6,000 square meters, with nearly 300 exhibitors, including government delegations and tea enterprises from major tea-producing areas across the country, such as Yunnan, Fujian, Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Taiwan. In addition to tea products, the expo will also showcase derivative products related to tea culture, such as Yixing purple clay teapots, Jingdezhen ceramics, Dehua white porcelain, calligraphy and painting, and rosewood furniture.
Participating enterprises include the Heyuan government delegation (Zijin Tea), Huizhou Rock Tea, Bo Luo delegation, Hui Dong delegation, Chaozhou Qianting Dan Cong, Guangmantang, De Ming Xian Ying Teas, and Yunnan Banglong Tea Factory, among others. Notable representatives in the purple clay sector include Zheng Qiubiao, Sun Jie, Zhang Bin, Wu Shunfang, and Zhang Taiyou. The porcelain exhibit will feature a delegation organized by craft artist Teacher Huang Jiaquan from Jingdezhen.
Many activities will be held during the expo, including the Huizhou tea friends' favorite tea brand online competition, tasters' tea brand appraisal event, selection of tea tasting officials, president networking event of Huizhou and Heyuan county associations, a dedicated tasting session for tea friends from Heyuan, and the second Huizhou Winning Ding Cup Top Ten Tea Princess Competition, sponsored by the title sponsor.
Highlights of this year's exhibition include:
Highlight 1: Tea-producing regions from various counties in Huizhou will form delegations to exhibit;
Highlight 2: The Heyuan government will host a production-sales docking meeting titled “The Melody of Dongjiang Tea and The Fragrance of Hui River”;
Highlight 3: Tasting event for Guangxi Wuzhou Cangwu Liubao Tea (Huizhou);
Highlight 4: The Jingdezhen ceramic delegation will make a grand appearance;
Highlight 5: Dozens of purple clay masters from Yixing, Jiangsu, will be present to showcase traditional craftsmanship;
Highlight 6: Mr. Lu Tianfu, intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Baidang Mountain Tea and Baidang Purple Bud Tea, will perform live tea-making demonstrations.
