2026 Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Management and Disaster Reduction Expo

The 2026 Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Management and Disaster Reduction Expo aims to implement the important instructions on emergency management by national leaders and execute the strategic deployment for promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. This expo, organized jointly by the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, Jiangsu Provincial Emergency Management Department, Zhejiang Provincial Emergency Management Department, and Anhui Provincial Emergency Management Department, seeks to advance the development of emergency management in the Yangtze River Delta region and enhance domestic and international cooperation. It aims to create an atmosphere where society is concerned, supports, and actively participates in emergency management.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including an opening tour, a launch ceremony, thematic seminars, technical exchanges, promotional experiences related to disaster prevention and reduction, corporate roadshows, and supply-demand releases. High-level officials from various ministries such as the Ministry of Emergency Management, Ministry of Transportation, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology are expected to attend, alongside leaders from the local governments of the three provinces and one city, representatives from the national emergency management and firefighting systems, research institutions, social organizations, foreign consulates, and trade associations, fostering deepened exchanges and collaborations.

Multiple exhibition areas will be set up, including an Innovation Area for Emergency Response, Disaster Prevention and Reduction Area, Comprehensive Rescue Equipment Area, Safety Protective Products Area, Safety Industry Services Area, and Popular Science Education Area. Each area will comprehensively showcase the latest achievements in emergency management, technological innovations, equipment, and services in the Yangtze River Delta region. For instance, the Innovation Area will present innovative products and cases in emergency technology, aiming to lead the development of the safety and emergency industry.

Additionally, there will be demonstrations of emergency command, communication, information sharing, and predictive-assisted decision-making technologies. Various disaster warning and monitoring systems will be highlighted, along with rescue equipment for incidents related to fires, hazardous materials, geological situations, and more. The Safety Protective Products Area will feature various personal protective equipment, while the Services Area will encompass specialized service organizations for risk assessment and disaster prevention.

This expo serves not only as a platform for showcasing products and technologies but also as a significant opportunity for communication and collaboration among various parties, aiming to provide substantial support for enhancing the emergency management levels and disaster reduction capabilities within the Yangtze River Delta.
