Qingdao, surrounded by beautiful mountains and blue seas, is a shining pearl in China's northern tea industry. With an annual consumption exceeding several billion yuan, Laoshan District serves as a distribution hub for tea, enriched by a long-standing tea culture.

The year 2025 marks a critical period for China’s rural revitalization and the 14th Five-Year Plan. The 18th China (Qingdao) International Tea Expo aims to actively respond to national strategies and foster comprehensive upgrades in the tea industry. This year's expo will enhance tea consumption, assist famous tea-producing areas in market expansion, promote sustainable development of the industry, and preserve Chinese tea culture, building a commercial hub for the tea industry in Eastern China that facilitates high-quality development across the entire tea value chain.

The event will officially open on June 20, 2025, at 9:20 AM, with leaders from Qingdao and representatives from various tea brands in attendance, followed by a guided tour for attendees at 10:00 AM.

From June 20 to June 23, daily activities from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM will feature a national quality tea recommendation program designed to promote the development and value enhancement of tea brands. Regional representatives will also promote communal brands and new tea products to raise market influence and new product recognition.

Furthermore, various thematic forums will be held during the expo, including a release event for Sichuan tea new products, a green tea product promotion session by the Qingdao Agricultural Bureau, and a tea industry exchange meeting, alongside cultural performances highlighting the development of tea culture in China.

The exhibition will gather over 700 exhibitors showcasing a wide array of teas, including green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, and Puer tea, alongside various teaware such as Yixing clay pots, ceramics, glassware, and more. This provides an extensive platform for over 30,000 visitors to engage with and appreciate tea culture, fostering high-quality growth and inheritance of the tea industry.
