2025 27th China Beijing International Technology Industry Expo

The China Beijing International Technology Industry Expo, known as the "Tech Expo," was founded in 1998 and is the first large-scale international technology exchange and cooperation exhibition in China. Sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Government, with support from the Beijing Trade Promotion Association, the Beijing Science and Technology Committee, the Zhongguancun Management Committee, and others, the Expo has contributed positively to showcasing the latest technological achievements, disseminating cutting-edge ideas, releasing industrial policy information, and promoting international economic and technical cooperation over its 25 successful editions.

To date, the previous 25 Expos have seen participation from over 1,190 foreign delegations from more than 100 countries and regions, with 40,180 domestic and foreign institutions and enterprises exhibiting, and a total visitor count of 5.73 million people. Contracts and agreements signed during these events surpassed 1.0645 trillion yuan. This reflects the Expo's significant role in implementing major national strategies, promoting international technology industry cooperation, and assisting Beijing's high-quality development.

In recent years, the Tech Expo has consistently maintained a high level of professionalism, standards, and internationalization. The 2023 Expo featured over 650 institutions from 23 countries and regions, including 165 foreign-funded enterprises, highlighting a 25% internationalization rate. It hosted 93 national leaders at the deputy ministerial level and attracted nearly 80,000 attendees. Extensive media coverage from major outlets like People’s Daily and Xinhua enhanced the visibility of participating enterprises and the Expo’s influence.

The 27th Tech Expo is scheduled to take place from May 8 to 11, 2025, at the National Conference Center, spanning four days and covering an area of approximately 22,000 square meters. The exhibition focuses on technological frontiers, major economic battlegrounds, national significant needs, and the health of the people. It will feature six thematic exhibition areas: Information Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Health, Green Dual Carbon, Digital Economy, and Regional Innovation Development. This will showcase the latest technological innovations and foster in-depth exchanges around technology trends, advanced applications, and innovative business models.

During the Expo, promotional and investment attraction activities will focus on artificial intelligence, digital education, pharmaceutical health, and new energy sectors. A Beijing investment promotion salon will be held along with future industry series promotional releases aimed at specialized, advanced, unique enterprises, unicorns, and venture capital institutions for project roadshows and capital matching.
