Guangzhou, known as one of China’s largest tea distribution and consumption markets, boasts over 2200 years of history in tea trade. From the 'Maritime Silk Road' to the Qing Dynasty’s 'Cohong System', the city has significantly contributed to the evolution of tea commerce. The China (Guangzhou) International Tea Expo, founded in 2006, has rapidly grown to be the most sizable, market-oriented, brand-driven, and professional tea event in the country, serving as a barometer for the tea industry in China and globally. Since 2010, the venue has been moved to Area C of the Canton Fair Complex. Subsequently, since 2011, the expo has been held twice a year in spring and autumn. The 2025 Spring China (Guangzhou) International Tea Expo will continue to offer high-quality and professional services to create a comfortable experience for tea enthusiasts, as well as generate more business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers. This year’s expo will present a variety of teas, tea utensils, tea foods, beverages, alongside technologies and equipment related to tea, facilitating a platform for communication and collaboration among exhibitors and buyers, promoting the development and innovation of the tea industry.
