2025 7th China Western International Investment and Trade Fair

The China Western International Investment and Trade Fair (referred to as the Western Fair), organized by the Chongqing Municipal Government, stands as an international event in the Western region of China. It serves as a significant platform for diplomacy, trade cooperation, and investment promotion, fostering both international and domestic collaborations. This fair is not only a means for the Western region to showcase its image but also a crucial window for expanding open cooperation with the outside world.

The 7th Western Fair is set to take place from May 22 to 25, 2025, at the Chongqing International Expo Center and the Chongqing Yuelai International Conference Center. The theme for this year's fair is "New Western, New Manufacturing, New Services," closely aligned with the important strategic positioning of the New Era's development in the West and the establishment of a comprehensive inland open hub, playing a vital role in national strategies while targeting high-quality development in the Western region.

This year's fair will focus on building a modern industrial system, accelerating the development of new productive forces, and promoting deep integration between advanced manufacturing and production services, as well as expanding high-level open cooperation. The exhibition will be divided into three thematic exhibition areas: Comprehensive Image Area, International and Regional Cooperation Area, and Modern Industrial Area, with several sub-exhibition areas within each zone, spanning an expected total exhibition area of 110,000 square meters.

During the conference, there will be an opening ceremony along with a major project signing event, centering on three thematic activities concerning the role of productive services in modern industrial development, foreign investment, and international economic and trade cooperation. Supporting activities aimed at promoting consumption will also be organized.

Specific exhibition areas include:
1. Logistics Equipment and Technology Area: showcasing logistics equipment, packaging, and new logistics technologies and achievements.
2. Smart Logistics Area: featuring intelligent warehousing, intelligent subcontracting, and IoT technologies.
3. Logistics and Supply Chain Management Area: integrating business flow, logistics, information flow, and capital flow among enterprises for unified operations covering suppliers, producers, and distributors.
4. Logistics Service Enterprises Area: encompassing port shipping, air cargo, road and rail transport, and express delivery services.
5. Logistics Hub Area: involving logistics bases, logistics parks, and comprehensive bonded areas.
