Nantong is known as the birthplace of modern China's textile industry and is famously referred to as the "Hometown of Textiles" as well as a "Household Textile City". It is also a key base for textile and garment exports in China. In the modern industrial system being developed by the Nantong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, high-end textile manufacturing has been prioritized for development. With the implementation of the national policy "Made in China 2025", the textile industry in Nantong is advancing towards high-end manufacturing processes characterized by digitalization, networking, and intelligent equipment.
The "2027 Nantong International Textile Machinery, Sewing Equipment and Printing Equipment Exhibition" (Nantong Textile Exhibition) focuses on intelligent manufacturing and aims to showcase the latest technologies, products, processes, and concepts in high-end textile production to a global audience. This exhibition will provide a one-stop commercial platform for supply and demand in the industry. It aims to promote the digitalization, networking, and intelligentization of the entire textile industry process, establishing a benchmark for intelligent development in the textile industry while enhancing innovation capacity and optimizing industrial structure.
