Central China International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the Zhengzhou Aviation Port District. It is a state-of-the-art, modern exhibition complex, covering a total area of 2,450 acres with a building area of 1 million square meters and a total investment of approximately 10 billion RMB. The center is one of the largest professional exhibition venues in Central China, capable of hosting various types of exhibitions, conferences, and festival activities.
The design of the Center blends modern architectural aesthetics with elements of traditional culture. Its first phase consists of 16 exhibition halls, each rectangular in shape. The halls are connected by corridors, forming a unique "品" (pin) character shape. This design not only maximizes functionality but also offers visual appeal, reflecting a style that is both ancient and dignified, yet modern and simple. Additionally, the center features a column-free and frameless large space design, with an exterior consisting of an ultra-long, super-large, and wide-span steel structure sloped glass curtain wall. The curtain wall is tilted at an angle of 79 degrees, showcasing advanced technology in modern architecture.
Currently, the second phase of the Center, known as the "Dragon Ridge," has taken shape, with the main and secondary lobbies' structural work completed. The steel structure construction for the entire project is expected to be finished by early April, with approximately 98,000 tons of steel being used. The second phase is particularly notable as the main venue for the 3rd National Vocational Skills Competition, drawing significant attention to its construction progress.
Looking ahead, the Center will continue to improve its service capabilities, aiming to become the fifth-largest professional exhibition venue in China and the largest in Central and Western China, serving the entire country and the Asia-Pacific region.
