2026 The 28th China Agricultural Product Processing Industry Investment and Trade Fair

The 28th China Agricultural Product Processing Industry Investment and Trade Fair is hosted by the China Rural Development Association and organized by China Construction Science and Industry Group Corporation. With the theme "Intelligence Unites Agricultural Processing, Technology Leads the Future", the fair focuses on technological empowerment, digital transformation, and international cooperation, aiming to create a more innovative and effective industry event. The fair will be held from September 22 to 24, 2026, at the Zhumadian International Exhibition Center, adopting the "1+2+5+N" activity system which includes an opening ceremony, industry meetings, international conferences, live-streaming activities and over 20 supporting events, with in-depth discussions on topics such as deep processing of agricultural products and digital transformation.

Five highlights have been comprehensively upgraded:

First, the technology is more authoritative. This event will gather top intellectual resources in the agricultural processing field, with keynote speakers from prestigious research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Academy of Planning and Design of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Jiangnan University, providing authoritative interpretations of industry policies and technological trends as well as releasing the latest scientific achievements in fields like future food, green processing, and intelligent equipment, thereby accelerating the integration of production, learning, and application, and creating an important communication platform for technological innovation in China's agricultural product processing.

Second, the platform is more open. The international strategy has been significantly upgraded, with invitations sent to leaders and business groups from ASEAN, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and countries along the "Belt and Road" for exhibition and procurement. The fair will leverage the policy dividends from RCEP to build a cross-border matching platform, helping domestic companies connect with global resources and expand their overseas market territory through high-level dialogues and business matching.

Third, the scale is larger. The focus is on the core demands of the entire agricultural product processing industry chain, with exhibits covering categories such as grain and oil products, meat, poultry, eggs, dairy, leisure food, and processing machinery, with a broader coverage area compared to previous fairs and an exhibition area expected to exceed 60,000 square meters.

Fourth, the quality is higher-end. The fair will gather leading companies and brands in the agricultural processing field both domestically and internationally, showcasing new technologies, products, and business models in deep processing. It will also invite professional purchasers from across the country, key enterprises in the industry chain, and international purchasing groups, creating an efficient matching platform for supply and demand on both sides.

Fifth, the services are more precise. Facilitating production and sales matching and supply-demand alignment is the core goal of the fair's transformation and development. This year, we will fully upgrade the "Cloud Agricultural Exhibition" platform with a focus on launching precise matching functions between exhibitors and suppliers, while also concentrating on showcasing quality products from exhibitors, making it easier for buyers to select products online.

The fair will set up seven specialized exhibition areas: This year's China Agricultural Fair will have an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters focusing on the theme of "Intelligence Unites Agricultural Processing, Technology Leads the Future". The exhibition systematically sets up seven distinct areas: Grain and Oil Exhibition Area, Meat and Dairy Products Exhibition Area, Agricultural Processing Brand Exhibition Area, Processing and Packaging Machinery Exhibition Area, Starch Products and Equipment Exhibition Area, Smart Agriculture Exhibition Area, and National OEM Brands Innovation Exhibition Area, presenting the latest achievements in scientific achievement transformation, digital transformation, and brand building in China's agricultural processing industry. Adhering to the concept of "equal emphasis on professionalism and effectiveness", the fair aims to create an efficient and practical one-stop cooperation platform for exhibitors, buyers, and professional visitors, focusing on B2B precise matching and deep integration of the industry chain.

We will construct the "1+2+5+N" activity system: As the only 5A-level exhibition themed around agricultural products processing in the country, this year’s China Agricultural Fair continues to innovate on the basis of its market-oriented transformation, establishing the "1+2+5+N" activity system: "1" represents one opening ceremony; "2" denotes two high-level meetings; "5" indicates five precise matching meetings; and "N" includes multiple supporting activities covering professional competitions, industry inspections, achievements collection, new product releases, etc., promoting project signing and result landing.

Having successfully hosted 27 editions, the Agricultural Fair has become an essential vehicle for implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions about "adhering to a comprehensive view of agriculture and food, and actively developing special agriculture and agricultural product processing industry".
