The 2026 34th China Wuhan Tea Industry Expo will be grandly held in Wuhan, the central region of China. This expo is supported by the "Guidelines for Upgrading and Quality Improvement of the Tea Industry (2026-2030)" issued jointly by five ministries including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which sets clear goals for the future development of the tea industry: by 2028, China will form multiple tea industry clusters with annual revenues exceeding 10 billion CNY, and by 2030, the scale of the entire tea industry chain is expected to reach 1.5 trillion CNY. In light of these trends, Hubei Province is actively promoting the "Three Tea Coordination" strategy, fostering the integration of tea culture, tourism, and health and wellness industries, while continuously reinforcing support for tea-growing regions and brand building.
Since its establishment in 2008, the Wuhan Tea Expo has held two sessions annually and has become the largest and most professional tea industry event in central China, providing a valuable platform for tea enterprises across the nation to exchange and showcase their products. This year's expo aims to use tea as a medium to bring together resources from the entire tea industry chain, assisting with brand promotion, channel expansion, and consumer upgrading.
The expo will focus on showcasing the high-quality tea resources of Hubei Province, including six major tea categories: green tea, black tea, dark tea (such as Yunnan Pu'er tea, Hunan black tea), oolong tea, white tea, and yellow tea. Additionally, there will be exhibits of reprocessed teas like flower tea, health teas, tea foods, beverages, various tea utensils and packaging materials, tea distribution markets, and tea brewing water. The expo will also feature tea processing machinery, tea technology, handicrafts, and extended tea products, covering every aspect of the tea industry chain.
Currently, the expo is actively inviting participants, sincerely welcoming tea enterprises from across the country to join this grand occasion. As an important window for Hubei’s tea industry to showcase itself to the outside world, the 34th Wuhan Tea Expo is an exceptional platform for businesses to embrace the 1.5 trillion CNY market and establish their footprint in central China and nationwide, presenting promising prospects.
