Currently, the global construction industry is undergoing a profound transformation centered on sustainable development and the digital technology revolution. Asia, particularly China, is the most active region in global construction, focusing on green and prefabricated buildings as national strategic priorities. The metal building system, dominated by steel structures, metal enclosures, and smart construction, is rapidly penetrating the sectors of civil, public buildings, and large-scale infrastructure.
In this context, the 5th Asia Metal Building Expo will be comprehensively upgraded, focusing on advanced areas like construction industrialization, smart manufacturing, low-carbon enclosures, and building photovoltaic integration. The expo will showcase the full industrial chain innovation results, from design concepts and structural systems to innovative materials and smart manufacturing equipment. It will gather industry leaders from around the world to promote the global metal building industry towards high-quality and sustainable development.
The concurrent activities include the opening ceremony and main forum, the Asia Metal Building Industry Awards ceremony, the 2026 Annual Steel-Wood Structure Industry Quality Development Conference, an international project forum, and various technology exchange seminars focused on welding, smart construction, and low-carbon construction. Additionally, there will be the Super Transportation Hub Expo and the Yangtze River Delta Smart Construction and Green Low Carbon Exhibition, where the latest building materials and technologies will be displayed, including steel-wood structures, concrete, and BIM technology.
From the project case displays by design agencies to the success stories of engineering contractors, and the showcase of software and various construction equipment, the expo will encompass all aspects of the construction industry, authentically reflecting future trends in the sector.
