Quality Expo

With the rapid development of China's economy, the subdivision of industrial technology is continuously expanding. As the living standards of citizens improve and the public's attention to environmental protection and quality safety increases, the demand for inspection and testing services has also risen rapidly. By the end of 2022, there were 52,769 inspection and testing institutions in China, a year-on-year increase of 1.58%. The total operating income reached 427.584 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.54%.

The Quality Expo will be held from September 24-26, 2025, alongside the Medtec China 2024 International Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology Expo at Pavilion 1 of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. As a resource exchange platform for quality managers, the expo aims to showcase excellent testing, measurement, inspection, and calibration equipment and supplies from both domestic and overseas. Additionally, multiple quality-themed forums will be hosted, inviting thousands of engineers to explore new business circles in the field of quality across industry, academia, and research.

The exhibited range includes testing, metrology, inspection, and calibration equipment and supplies. Quality Expo will also establish several forums focusing on quality topics, where experts from research institutions, national inspection bodies, and renowned testing companies will analyze and discuss key issues in the industry, providing the latest standards information for medical device regulations and quality personnel, and formulating effective implementation strategies. Previous years have seen participation from experts from prestigious organizations such as the Chinese Academy of Medical Devices Standard Management, the Mechanical Industry Instrumentation and Technology Research Institute, the FDA Office in China, RAC Global, and SGS (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Furthermore, the expo will gather over 100 industrial precision measurement and testing product suppliers for discussions on industry pain points. This gathering not only promotes in-depth interaction among inspection and testing institutions but also helps expand the resources for medical device buyers. The expo will be held concurrently with Medtec China, which is part of Informa Markets' Medtech World global series of medical design and manufacturing exhibitions. It will attract nearly 1,000 quality brand suppliers from nearly 27 countries and is expected to attract over 80,000 high-quality buyers to the event.
