2025 9th China International Food and Ingredients Expo and 3rd China International Prepared Dishes Industry Expo

The 9th China International Food and Ingredients Expo and the 3rd China International Prepared Dishes Industry Expo will be held in Dongguan from April 18 to 20, 2025. This marks the fifth year of the "Food Expo and Prepared Dishes Expo" being hosted in Dongguan, with a total exhibition area expected to exceed 50,000 square meters. This year’s expo will feature several exhibition zones, including brand and national pavilions, grain and condiments, prepared dishes and ingredients, tea and coffee beverages, leisure and trendy foods, health foods, pet foods, equipment and packaging, showcasing an extensive range of food-related sectors.

During the event, various significant activities will be held, such as the China Agricultural Brand Innovation and Development Conference, the National Food Dealer Conference, specialized procurement matchmaking sessions, culinary competitions, releases of new ingredients and agricultural food technology, and an agricultural short video competition. Moreover, the Guangdong Modern Agricultural Expo will also take place concurrently, shining together with the other two expos, marking an upgrade of the Food and Prepared Dishes Expo to become the 'Three Expos'.

What new changes and highlights will be present? Ma Hongtao, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, stated that the organizing committee will spare no effort to advance the preparatory work, aiming for high standards in terms of scale, quality, precision, and innovation to enhance the overall influence of this year’s fair.

As a national-level comprehensive international food exhibition, this year's expo will invite significant guests, including leaders from relevant government departments, renowned academicians, experts, and industry leaders, to participate in deep discussions focusing on policies, technological innovations, and market trends, providing a premium intellectual feast for the entire industry.

Additionally, leading domestic and foreign food industry enterprises will be invited to showcase their star products and innovative achievements, covering new categories such as grains, oils, side foods, leisure snacks, and prepared dishes. Major e-commerce platforms, leading food supply chain companies, and well-known buyers from the Middle East, North America, and Southeast Asia will also participate with procurement intentions worth hundreds of billions.

The exhibition services will be comprehensively upgraded, especially with regard to professionalism and intelligence, ensuring that exhibitors, buyers, and visitors receive high-quality and efficient service throughout the exhibition process.

This year’s expo will incorporate AI elements in various scenarios, including cloud tours, virtual explanations, creative live broadcasts, robot chefs, and assistants, making it the first AI-powered smart agricultural food expo in the country, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the industry such as smart prepared food equipment and new preservation technologies. The 'Pet Economy' exhibition area will also see upgrades, introducing functional zones for pet staple foods, snacks, and social interaction, expanding the boundaries of agricultural and food industry development.
