SIAL, short for "Salon International De L'Alimentation", is a leading international food and beverage exhibition brand founded in Paris in 1964 by the French company Comexposium. The SIAL series of global exhibitions, held in cities like Shanghai, Shenzhen, Paris, Montreal, Toronto, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta, serves as a significant platform for food enterprises worldwide to convey their message and demonstrate their value. To promote the development of the Chinese food industry, Comexposium introduced SIAL to China in 2000, successfully establishing SIAL (Shanghai) and SIAL (Shenzhen) as dual events. The exhibition is characterized by its internationality, professionalism, trade focus, and innovation. After 25 years of development in the Chinese market, SIAL has attracted over 55,000 exhibitors from 75 countries and regions, with more than 1,500,000 professionals from 125 countries and regions attending. SIAL (Shanghai) has become one of the top three food exhibitions worldwide, while SIAL (Shenzhen) serves as a dialogue platform connecting the Greater Bay Area, Southeast Asia, and the global food and beverage market. Annually, the exhibition presents a variety of new food and beverage products from multiple countries and features a wealth of high-quality invited buyers, facilitating on-site order placements and business opportunities. The 2026 SIAL International Food and Beverage Exhibition (Guangzhou) will be held at the Poly World Trade Center in Guangzhou from September 3 to 5, with an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, expected to attract over 1,500 exhibitors and more than 65,000 professionals, featuring fourteen thematic zones and a rich array of events and activities.
