The 21st China Optics Valley International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (referred to as the Wuhan Optical Expo) is scheduled to take place from May 15 to 17, 2025, at the China Optics Valley Science and Technology Exhibition Center. This year's expo is expected to host over 360 exhibiting companies and cover an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, with more than 15,000 professional visitors expected to attend. Since its successful debut in 2002, the Wuhan Optical Expo has conducted 20 editions, attracting over 5,700 renowned companies from more than 30 countries and regions, and receiving nearly 570,000 professional visitors, alongside more than 180 specialized forums held concurrently.

The expo focuses on various key themes including laser and optical intelligent manufacturing, precision optics, optoelectronic integrated circuits, cutting-edge optoelectronic applications, and optical communication and sensing. Key showcases will include advanced types of lasers, laser components, laser processing equipment, 3D printing devices, industrial automation equipment, and robotics. The precision optics realm will highlight optical measurement, optical manufacturing, optical design, components, and machine vision technologies. The optoelectronic integrated circuits section will present crucial core chips, wafers, packaging and testing materials, and innovative display technologies. Furthermore, the expo will spotlight the intersection of optoelectronics with artificial intelligence and smart technologies, including smart driving and new energy vehicles, as well as additional exhibition areas for smart life and smart cities.

Positioned in the heart of China's largest optoelectronic industry hub, the Wuhan Optical Expo is jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Intellectual Property Administration, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People's Government of Hubei Province, with local cooperation from the Wuhan Municipal Government and the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone Management Committee.
