The 8th China International Import Expo is organized by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, with support from the China International Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The expo includes several sections such as the National Comprehensive Exhibition, Enterprise Business Exhibition, Hongqiao International Economic Forum, along with a variety of professional and cultural exchange activities. This event aims to showcase the openness of China's vast market and its potential for international cooperation, pushing global economics towards greater openness and connectivity. The expo emphasizes the connection between Chinese and world markets, industrial integration, and interaction in terms of innovation and international rules. It has played a significant role as a platform for international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchanges, and open cooperation, becoming a vital window for displaying China's new development pattern and earning global recognition.

About 4,500 exhibitors participate, attracting over 410,000 visitors, and the event spans a total exhibition area of more than 360,000 square meters.
