Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center is a modern exhibition venue jointly invested and constructed by the Changchun Municipal Government and Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone. The center covers an area of 640,000 square meters and has a construction area of 194,000 square meters, with the capability to host large-scale international expositions and national trade fairs.
The Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center boasts nine exhibition halls, numbered 1 to 9, covering a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and capable of accommodating 5,000 international standard booths. Additionally, the center features an outdoor exhibition area spanning 15,500 square meters, a ceremonial square occupying 6,000 square meters, and a 90,000 square meter parking lot capable of accommodating over 3,000 vehicles of various types.
The Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center, designed by Tsinghua University Design Institute, features a unique and modern architectural style, utilizing a large-span spatial steel pipe truss and cable-stayed structure. Commenced in May 2000 and completed in August 2001, it stands as a landmark building in Changchun. Located within the Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone in the southeastern part of Changchun city, the center is adjacent to Jingyuetan Forest Park and Changchun Film Studio to the east, and borders the Yitong River to the west. It boasts a beautiful environment and convenient transportation.
The Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center frequently hosts various large-scale exhibitions and events, including the Changchun Commodity Fair, the National Book Fair, and the Flower Expo. These events not only showcase the economic development achievements of Changchun but also attract a large number of domestic and foreign exhibitors and visitors.
