Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center

Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Qingxiu District, Nanning City, Guangxi, covering an area of 615 acres with a construction area of 640,000 square meters. It is a landmark building in Nanning, Guangxi, and has served as the permanent venue for the China-ASEAN Expo since 2004.

The main building of the center, the Hibiscus Hall, is inspired by Nanning's city flower, the hibiscus. The 12 petals symbolize the unity, friendship, and harmonious coexistence of the 12 major ethnic groups that have lived in Guangxi for generations, working together to build a beautiful homeland with picturesque mountains and rivers.

Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center consists of eight sections: Area A (East Wing) with the certification hall and commercial center; Area B (East Wing) with the Osmanthus Hall, news center, and exhibition halls; Area C (Side Wing) with the administrative complex; Area D (Front Wing) with exhibition halls and conference center; Area E (Central Wing) with exhibition halls; Area F (Tail Wing) with the exhibition tower and Nanning Haosheng Hotel; and Area G (Tail Wing) with the Exhibition Hill and Exhibition Square. It includes two large multifunctional halls (Osmanthus Hall and Hibiscus Hall), 18 exhibition halls of varying sizes (the largest hall is 15,810 square meters, and the smallest is 2,160 square meters), and 18 meeting rooms and a news center. The indoor exhibition area is 92,000 square meters and can accommodate 5,300 international standard booths. Additionally, there are over 3,500 parking spaces in the underground parking lot and 270 spaces on the surface.

The Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center is conveniently located with well-developed surrounding infrastructure. It connects to the city's main road, Minzu Avenue, to the north, the ASEAN Business District and Shimen Forest Park to the east, the city's expressway and the large urban park, Min Ge Lake, to the west, and is backed by the Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area. It is a 15-minute drive from Nanning East Station (high-speed rail) and a 40-minute drive from the airport. Over 30 bus lines pass through the area, and Line 1 of the metro has a station with the same name at the exhibition center, providing direct access from the commercial center to the metro station. The area also features two large urban complexes (Hangyang Shopping Center and China Resources Vientiane City) and 18 hotels with four-star ratings or higher (offering around 4,500 rooms of varying standards, including 321 rooms at the Haosheng Hotel), providing great convenience for exhibition visitors.

Since its completion, Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center has successfully hosted the China-ASEAN Expo and Business and Investment Summit for 20 years, as well as the 28th Nanning International Student Supplies Fair, the China-ASEAN International Automobile Exhibition, the China International Advertising Festival, the China International Business Culture Festival and the China (Nanning) International Fashion Expo, the 71st China Educational Equipment Exhibition, the 2016 China International Stamp Exhibition, the 81st National Auto Parts Trade Fair, the 2019 China Feed Industry Exhibition, and other large-scale events.
